About Me
Married for 8 wonderful years to the love of my life. I had my first pregnancy back in 2003 that ended in a miscarriage. I was about 8 weeks along. We found out we had a girl through chromosonal testing. We named our precious little angel Allison. We're still TTC. Hope to be blessed with a precious miracle if it's God's will. Only time will tell.

Charity work, watching movies, crocheting, sewing, shopping around craft fairs, cooking/baking, singing

Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
It was around 2001 when I was diagnosed having PCOS. I wished I found out about DS back then. But now that I have I know I'm not alone.
Treatments
- Metformin Somewhat Helpful
- Started Jan. 2007. Helped in regulating my periods without use of Provera to start them. Still waiting for a positive pregnancy. Is helping w/ weight loss (slowly but surely)
- Oral Contraceptives Working / Worked
- Only used it in the past to stop the heavy bleeding during a prolonged menstrual period which it did. Not using it now 'coz I'm TTC.
- Prayer Working / Worked
- Helps me working through life's challenges.
- Provera Working / Worked
- AF begins 4-6 days after taking 10 days (1 tab/day)
Close Miscarriage
I'm 42 yrs "young." Married for 8 yrs. Had a miscarriage back in 2003. I was about 8 weeks pregnant. I had my first (and hopefully last) D & C 2 days later after I found out that my baby didn't have a heartbeat anymore. As yrs went by, I've learned how to cope with our loss. My marriage stayed stronger year after year. Just needed to share with others who r going through it, too.
