Hi Sol, Yes think I have been having a few auras which I used to have before seizures. But they don't feel the same. Its like a taste in my mouth and a bell sound also. So was just wondering if u ever had it. hugsssssssss Raid

Close Epilepsy & Seizures
Since I was very young I had temporal lobe epilepsy. But, since 2006 , when I had surgery, I've been seizure free.
Treatments
- Clobazam Not Working
- I still had some seizures
- Depakote Not Working
- I still had some seizures
- Dilantin Not Working
- I still had some seizures
- Keppra Not Working
- I still had some seizures
- Lamictal Not Working
- I still had some seizures
- Phenobarbital Not Working
- I still had some seizures
- Surgery Working / Worked
- Since surgery I have had no seizures. One year after the surgery I went off AEDs (it took 6 months to eradicate them) and I've been off them for almost a year.
- Tegretol Not Working
- I still had some seizures
Close Tinnitus
I've had tinnitus for about 4 years and despite the fact that I'm now off Tegretol (a drug I was on for over a decade known to cause T) the ringing is now louder than ever. I've tried ear candling, acupuncture, as well as taken ginko trying to nix the constant ringing but nothing has worked. Suffice it to say that I'm still searching for a way to beat this or, at the VERY least, to decrease the volume of the 24-hour ear ringing. I'm now seeing a chiropractor.
