9/16: I shot up in the LH -- full dose -- and used my sunburn gel. I got a pretty big red mark in the RH from the last shot, so I think I need to be massaging more before the gel. I am getting so much better about the needles, so much better in fact I think that's the excuse I've been using to cover what really bugs me: the burn. I hate the burn from the shot. I hate to say it's not fair to have to go through giving yourself a shot only to have it burn too, but I think that's my real beef. I don't like the burn, and I think I'm afraid of the burn. Because it doesn't happen every time, I think it's the burn I fear more than the needle.
