We are back home Mood

We got back home from San Diego on wednesday. Our trip was very nice we went to the beach 3 times swimming 1 time(Owen did get a tad burnt). Visited all of the grandparents. The kids got to see all of their friends. We went to the zoo. Played at the park. I had my birthday. Galilee went to VBS with her friends. Galilee went to the salon and got her hair trimmed. The kids played at an out door water playground. We went to church. We brpought flowers to Esthers grave site. We went to my mother in laws and she didn't hold Felicity (and it really upset me) I went over 4 different times and not once did she ask or care about how Felicity was doing. she just kept talking about her other granddaughter, that my husband sister had 3 weeks before Felicity was born. We went over to my moms house every day, I am happy that my kids do have one grandma that does care about them. Over all we had a nice and busy trip.

don't even sweat it over your MIL, what I have come to find with my oldest is that over the years he discovers who the people are he wants to associate with in the family. As a baby and young child my mother was very much this way with Alex, I have a neice who is 3 days younger and you'd think that kid has found the cure for cancer!!!! When Alex was younger, he had issues with this, but now at the ripe old age of 13 he has figured it out. He sees that grandma for what she is. He is still respectful when he sees her, but he doesn't have the same bond with his other grandma or even his step great grandma. Alex says bad grandma need to look at the good ones so they can learn how to act. I know if pissed you off but really you don't want anyone holding that precious little miracle who isn't worthy of the privledge!

Ok...why wouldn't your MIL hold your new baby???? Is she weird like that with all your kids?
