About Me
I'm 36 and living in the UK with my husband and two children, both boys aged 7 and 9. I've been working in children's mental health but I'm taking a break at the minute. Looking to start doing some Further Ed teaching in September.
Interests
I am currently addicted to trampolining! Having never been interested in sport of any kind I've finally found one I love. Wish I'd started at a younger age though as my knees and pelvic floor slowing me down! I also love to read and sing in a community choir.

Hang in there. The rash will come. For quite a while I had the pain & kept it to myself, (trying to figure out if I twisted myself "wrong" or something.) THEN CAME THE RASH.! Of course, I was on no meds. for it, so maybe will be different for you. Even after I got the rash, did not figure all out 'til someone suggested Shingles. Then, too late for meds. Had to "ride it out." G.

That is amazing. I was born in 1971, had my first in 1998, my second in 2000. And just this week we were looking at trampolines. It's like we're living the same life only continents apart. :-)

Support Groups
Close Dyspraxia & Apraxia
I have a 9-year old son who was diagnosed with mild developmental co-ordination disorder and sensory difficulties about one year ago. Also have 7 year old son who shows some similar characteristics but to a much lesser degree.
Treatments
- Physical Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- We received 7 ot sessions which my son really enjoyed. After discharge, however, I feel it would have been helpful to give us some ideas for further support.
