Regular visit to VA doctor today. He's great, but the VA system has just been a total waste of time for me. They don't know or care about how much I've improved myself. They haven't a clue as to what to do about what remains, mostly lingering TBI type symptoms. No one detecteed mild tbi in me way back when, and they have no way to evaluate themselves. It's all real time... and my case needs to study the past 12 to 14 years to be congizent of where i am today.

So, I press on. there was an article in the paper about a local fellow injured with MTBI in Iraq being honored today. That really gets me becuase what helped me could help so many vets with percussion injuries to their closed skulls.

The good news, Lou22 is seeing Dr. Howell right now, she AND her Mum are getting NCR treatments and the first reports are good. I can't wait to hear back from her this weekend.

Work is slooooooooooow and I am brooooooke, but after 12 years and 6 weeks of intense pain i'm now 20 months into recovery and it's still 5 days forward, 2 days back. The only way I could be any happier is if I didn't have to always pretend eveyrthing is perfect.
