Hello I know how you feel about a cane,I was always thinking people were ,saying poor woman,now let me tell you a very good friend of mine with MS was always telling me that I should use my cane and stop trying to me cute,and she was right ,I do not leave home with out it.I just got my letter from S.S.about my disability,and I will be getting it july.It was hard for me I stop working in oct.I do not know were you live ,but here in Maryland you have to not be able to walk for 5 months ,before they will ever think about sending you a check.That was so hard for me ,I had just got out of the hospital when S.S. wanted me to see there Doctor,HELL I was in bad shape when I saw him I was useing a walker at the time,because I had drop foot ,that sucks, well any way to make a long story short,DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO FOR YOURSELF
