I may disappear tomorrow for a day or more. My PC needs to go back for repair. Same problem, the CPU fan, so the poor thing overheats. I know how it feels. Last time it was away it was traumatic. I seem to consume vast amounts of information every day and much of it can only be gathered from the net. Plus 90% of my music studio is within the PC. Luckily I've got some new gear in that doesn't require a PC without a complete rewire. And I've just remembered to print off the manuals off the PC.
It's always a wrench to see the PC go. Last time it came back with a little note from the computer repair man that read "We couldn't find any porn on your PC. So we've put some on for you. Enjoy" How thoughtful!
