Hug
Been really busy. The power steering hose was routed incorrectly and a pulley had rubbed a hole, no fluid, no power steering, no bill to get it fixed. Yippee! Just been playing since the retreat. Sid to SD for walleye now next week to Calamus for Carol's bday. Hope hubby's knee is finally cooperating. Take care.

Will be praying for this little guy. I will also ask you for prayers. A boy the same age as Erin was killed in West Point when he was helping his dad work cattle. He was crushed in the squeeze chute. I have told a mutual friend that if they need anything they are to call. The funeral is tomorrow. I will try to call them next week. Take care.

Type: Loss of a ChildI am married and am the mother of three sons; 26, 24, and the youngest was 18 when he killed himself a year ago. I miss him terribly.

Close Families & Friends Affected By Suicide
My 18 year old son committed suicide on June 12 of 06 just two weeks after reaching his goal of graduation from high school. He suffered from bi-polar, addictions and other mental illness. He was a special young man, very handsome, athletic, artistic and fun. I miss him so much!

- God brought a wonderful counselor into our lives and she isn't afraid to try different things.
- Talking Working / Worked
- I am so blessed by God to have such a good support network.
- Writing Working / Worked
- I am more comfortable with writing sometimes than talking. My journals are my legacy to my children.
- EMDR Working / Worked
- This is a treatment counselors are using for vets suffering from PTSD. They are finding phenominal results in bringing relief. I had three of these treatments and it brought a lot of peace.
- Reading Working / Worked
- I have read 4 books on suicide. Two of them were really good.
