is feeling Bad
I am a professional pet sitter with my own business. I adore animals and they help me make it through my days. I used to have a booming business and because of the Mitochondrial disease I have had to cut my business to almost nothing. I have 4 cats, my dog died last Dec 14th. My roommate has 2 dogs though they are wonderful. I have 4 college degrees...medical in nature. Loved the pet sitting to much. I should have been a vet like I thought about.
I am totally recharged by hiking and camping and being outside. I love to garden. Music and nature, that with animals and I'm ok. My pets are my life.

Terre, A great big Hug & Prayers are with you. I know what you are going through with this MM disorder. I have the same thing. I am sorry to hear about the death of your dog.. Your picture with the two of you look adorable. I have 2 adorable small dogs. One just acquired diabetes and I must give her insulin 2 X/day and check her blood sugar by sticking the inside of her ear. She is a good girl though. She comes right to me and sits there patiently while being tortured shortly. I give her a diabetic treat afterwards which makes it slightly easier on her. Know you have someone else in your corner Terre. If you ever want to write, my name is Marie. Take care my MM pal.
HI TERRE, I WAS SO HAPPY TO HEAR FROM YOU.I WILL FOREVER KEEP YOU IN MY PRAYERS. LOVE YA WEDAD
In July of 2006 I was diagnosed with a Mitochondrial Disorder, Carnitine Disorder and whatever else. The doctors have told me "I'm to complicated to actually diagnose." I don't know what form I have I only know I have progressively gone down hill quickly. I have multiple organ failures and muscle and nerve damage. But I'm hanging in and I will not leave this earth without letting people know this disease does exist. I am doing everything I know on my own.
Since I have Mitochondrial disease and with that problems with my muscles I just thought that is what was bothering me. It always got better when I got up and moved around until my muscles from the disease part couldn't take the movement any more. I couldn't sleep, I was only getting a couple hours of sleep and was miserable.
