Hi and welcoome to the forum. I hope your dad is feeling ok after the transplant. I had one too 3 years ago. I'm jealous that he didn't lose all his hair, lol. I'll be here if you need anything. Cheryl

I am 24 from Cheshire, United Kingdom and my Dad was diagnosed with Myeloma November 2006 after a routine blood test which was a follow up due to a fall that caused one of my Dad's ribs to break. It was sheer luck that the illness was discovered. I think that the treatments over here in the UK may be a little different but must do the same. Dad was put on to a trial called Trial 9 and has recently had a Stem Cell Transplant which has proved very successful.
