LIVED A LOT OF LIFE IN MY 40 PLUS YEARS. AND HAVE THE STORIES TO TELL ABOUT IT. I'VE HAD THE HIGHEST OF HIGHS AND LOWEST OF LOWS. BUT THAT IS AFTERALL THE HUMAN CONDITION. I AM A ROMANTIC, A DREAMER, COMPASSIONATE TO A FAULT. I AM ALSO A SCIENTIST BY NATURE AND PROFESSION, A HUMANIST AND TRY TO CENTER MY THOUGHTS ON REALITY. Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Seconday Progressive MSHave had symptoms for years, but because they overlaped with other conditions no one took me seriously. Finally getting a proper dx and now it's sec. progressive!
Treatments
- Aqua Therapy Working / Worked
- Starting up again this week~yeah!!
- Baclofen Considering
- Copaxone Not Working
- Had to discontinue it due to horrible reaction and side effects....waiting to see what the docs come up with next.
- LDN - Low Dose Naltrexone Considering
- Neurontin Not Working
- Prednisone Somewhat Helpful
Close Chronic Pain
Severe injury to my spine and legs several years ago.
Treatments
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- Recently resumed taking it and it is helping a lot. Hope it continues to help
- Flexeril Working / Worked
- Heat Working / Worked
- Of course it works, while the heating pad is on :)
- Lyrica Not Working
- got very puffy-retained water. didn't help pain
- Mobic Not Working
- Nerve Blocks Working / Worked
- Too many to count..not very effective for all that the risk.
- Neurontin Not Working
- Almost made me suicidal. This was not the medicine for me.
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- THE OLD TRIED AND TRUE WORKS FOR A WHILE.BUT, IT COMES WITH A HEAVY BURDEN OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Physical Therapy Working / Worked
