SORRY THAT I HAVE NOT COME TO VISIT. LIFE GETS IN THE WAY. MY MOM IS HERE FOR A MONTH (SHE LIVES IN ISRAEL). I HAVE THE FLU AGAIN, AND MY SON HAS BEEN OUT OF SCHOOL FOR 2 WEEKS. WHEN I FEEL BETTER, I WILL COME OVER. SHE DOES LOOK LIKE YOU, REALLY. SHE IS PERFECT....

That would be nice if you didn't have to put your daughter in daycare and could work something out w/ your mom! My DH is actually 2 semesters away from finishing his Business Finance/Accounting degree, so he is going to school full time. We have our schedules worked out so he will be home w/ her M-W-F and she will be in daycare Tu-Th. It is nice that he can care for her instead of full time day care!

Type: Ovarian IssuesMy husband and I started trying over a year ago (July '06). I had elevated FSH. 1st 2 IUIs with Clomid failed. I only got 2 follies on my 1st IUI with injections after taking lupron. I then attempted IVF for 4th try but it got canceled because I only got 1 mature follicle. Shockingly to both me and my docs, I got a BFP with that IUI (my fourth). Also, first IUI where I took xanex to relax AND did acupuncture!!
Treatments
- Acupuncture Working / Worked
- My endometrium was thickest ever but didn't help more follicles to grow. Great stress reliever.
- Artificial Insemination Working / Worked
- Had 2 with clomid and 2 with injections. Worked on try #4 (try #2 with injections).
- Clomid Not Working
- Tried 2 cycles of Clomid with insemination. Both failed. 1st did 100MG and got only 1 follicle. Then upped it to 250MG a day and got 4 follicles. Endometrium very thin at only 4 or so...
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- taking it for a year now while trying to get pregnant. Started last July, now pregnant in October.
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked
- No side effects.
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Working / Worked
- Found some small fibroids/polyps.
- In Vitro Fertilization Not Working
- I tried my first this month (Sept/Oct) but got to last week with only 1 follicle..canceled the IVF ...but got most of the money back and got the BFP with IUI!
- Lupron Working / Worked
- Headaches first month. Second month did not have many side effects at all until after stopped and then got hot flashes. Must have helped weed out the bad eggs and give me the one good egg that took!
- Repronex Working / Worked
- Did not get many follicles but worked!
- Xanax Working / Worked
- Took it day of IUI to relax!
Close Pregnancy
Finally pregnant after trying over a year...well 6 months of fertility treatments due to my husband's issues and then what seemed to be mine as well..
