Happy New Year!! Well, here it is again a brand new year. I pray for all of us that it is a year of joy and posititve things for all of us. I pray that we can help each other in our times of needs and our times of celebration. Last year was a year that has changed my life forever. I have had more tests, medicines, doctor's visist and phone calls than i care to count.
I pray that this year will be one of hope and good things. One good thing that I have to look forward to is the graduation of my son from high school in june. He plans on going to college to become a physical therapist. My goal is to be able to walk without a cane and get back to work, but even if that doesnt happen, I know that I will be ok.
Hi,
I was new to this site around December of 2006 as well. I see that we have several things in common! We're both female, around the same age (I just turned 50 a couple of weeks ago), both have diabetes type 2 and both have MS!
I was just put on Juvamet for my diabetes. Previously, I had been on no drugs for diabetes, but had heard about this new drug that is supposed to actually help the pancreas function better (sort of heal it). The only side effect I've noticed is that it suppresses the appetite--good for me!
Take care,
Eloise (Michelle)
