I am new to this site. I was diagnosed with MS in feb.2006. although my doctor thinks i have had it for awhile. Most of my problems began with a virus 3 years ago called ParvoB19 virus, with is fifth disease syndrome(slapped cheek). 20% of women who get it, it gets worse, you have fatigue, muscle pain and arthritis. I have been tested for everything. Diagnosed with fibromaylgia, arthriits, diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma. all since i have the virus. Then one day I work up with severe pain in my knees which progressed into both of my feet feeling like they were in a bucket of ice water, until i couldnt walk. After many test, mri's spinal tap, etc. I was told I had MS. I take Rebif 3 days a week and use a cane to get around. I am not off of work again for 6 weeks trying to work on getting myself stronger and healtier. I do have the support of a wonderful husbands and 2 wonderful kids.
