I am a mother of two teenagers and have had epilepsy for most of my life. I started taking medication for seizures when I was 20 years old when I had my first grand mal that lasted approximately an hour. I have since been on meds for seizures and have uncontrolled seizures and have just recently had a left temporal lobectomy. My oldest son has just recently been diagnosed with epilepsy and is currently taking Lamictal.
I enjoy to quilt, paint cermanics, put to gather puzzles with my sister, go for four wheeler rides with my husband and kids, wood burn, and take walks with my friends and talk with friends online.

I have suffered from seizures all of my life but they got to the point where I needed to start to take meds at the age of 20. In addition my oldest boy also suffers and is treated for epilepsy. He is 16 years old.
