    • Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)

      I was diagnosed with PCOS two years ago. I only have normal periods when on birth control and it does nothing for my hair growth. I have always had dark hair on my upper lip, chin, and chest which can be embarrassing.

      Treatments

      NuvaRing Somewhat Helpful
      It only makes me have periods. It doesn't acutally teat PCOS.

    • Close Smoking Addiction & Recovery

      I am 26 years old and I have been smoking since I was 13. I have been suffering from Asthma Attacks recently and the smoking is not helping. I took Chantix for a month and now I am off and was smoke free for just over a month. Now I am smoking again.

      Treatments

      Chantix Working / Worked
      Worked as long as I took it. I recomend taking it for the recommend amount of time.
      Cold Turkey Somewhat Helpful
      The withdrawl was terrible! That quit lasted 3 months.
      Nicotine Gum Not Working
      The gum worked as far as killing the craving. The taste is so bitter, and the gum burns my gums. I only used it for a week and then, quit cold turkey.

      We were together for 5 years married for 3. I have filed for divorce a few weeks ago.

      Couples Counseling Somewhat Helpful
      He would say all the right things in therapy and would act on them at home. Plus, getting him to just go was difficult.
