"HOPE FOR THE DAY" from SilentGrief.com

December 3, 2007
Sometimes things happen that are hard to understand. In
fact, sometimes the painful happenings are impossible to
understand and we're left with only questions.
We often hear that God will see us through, and that each
star represents a special miracle waiting for someone to
take, but that has little meaning to us when we are walking
the lonely path of grief and loss. The last thing we want
to hear is that everything is going to be okay!
But, the truth is that God is all around us, and He is
trying to show us that He really does have a world full
of miracles waiting to be recognized. It's difficult to
look through tear-stained eyes, but when we do, we
can see that His love and care are all around us. Just
when we least expect some sun to come shining through
the darkness, it appears! God's timing is always right!
Hidden within the heart of every person is enough faith
and hope to pull us through. When we begin to look
for the miracles found in every day, we begin to see them
and we can feel the mighty hand of God drawing us
close, giving us the comfort and shelter we need.
Did someone give you a smile today? Did you hear the
rushing wind telling of God's mighty power? Did you
see the crystallized snowflake made in perfect symmetry?
Did you see the white, fluffy clouds floating through the
bright, blue sky? Did someone say, "I love you" today?
Did you feel a moment of calm and peace?
Miracles are all about us, and you have the faith to see
them! When you look for miracles you will find them,
and then your faith will grow strong enough to carry you
through! It's a miracle just for you! --Clara Hinton
