Well here I go first time on the journal.
Got hitched yesterday to my partner of 19 years - civil ceremony had a wonderul and memorable day.
Health wise feel awful two failed ops within 8 weeks and the next step is radiotherapy next month. Going for my next otrecide jab Thursday and also demanding to see the neuro surgeon as i have had an ongoing infection with a disgusting taste in my mouth despite three rounds of antibiotics.
I also keep having a nasty looking and thick bleeding discharge so god knows whats going on. My headaches and sweating are horrendous and my feet are startingt to resemble that of a clown - grown another shoes size to a ten now !!
This site is a fantastic form of support and I would like to thank everyone for their best wishes it really does inspire you to think that a few words of encouuragement can mean so much to someone.

Hi Nick firstly brill news for you getting hitched and youve done it a journal I was so waiting for you to write in your journal.I wouldnt worry about your size of your feet my fifteen year old is a size 10.But yes the other things must be of great concern to you.I just want to give you a big hug Nick to show how much I understand what you are going through.JJx

Got all my radio therapy dates today been weepy now pissed as a fart but will be ok hope u are fine and dandy and thank u so much again nick xxx

Congrats on getting hitched! I wish you much happiness. You totally deserve it. Tell the doc all your concerns and don't sstop until you get answers. These doctors can be so evasive (especially when they don't have answers) Mish

Yeah!! Congratulations Nick! I was only wondering the other day when in January it was and amid my dashing I missed it!! :o(

Congrats! Keep hanging in there...I agree with Mish, keep on your doctors... you are your own best advocate! Does that even make sense? Sorry ,running on little sleep! Now that you are married you can complain about your spouse on your journal.(that is what it is for you know) lol Stay Strong!
