I'm pretty bummed that the injection didn't help me at all. I went to bed last night and the minute my head and neck hit the pillow, I had such horrible pain that all I could do was ice it and try to live through it. The doc gave me darvocet for the pain but it sure isn't helping. I don't want to go on anything stronger, though so I guess I'll just have to deal with it. I see him again tomorrow and we'll discuss the next step. I don't want to have surgery because I already have limited motion in my neck from the two fusions that are there already. I don't want to fuse anymore because I don't want to lose any more motion. I guess I'll see what he has to say tomorrow.

I go see my ob/gyn today for a re-check for my hysterectomy. Everything on that front seems to be doing well. I hope he'll release me and that will be all I have to do with him. Hes a good doctor but I hate the gynocologist and the exams so I'll be glad to be shed of them.

My daughter came home today and reported a good weekend with her father. That makes me feel so much better. Now I can rest on the weekends when she's gone instead of being in a perpetual state of panic.

one thing at a time,heh?so glad your hysterectomy has gone well,and you dont have to go back again.they took my cervix aswell,so no more smears!!you must feel so relieved that your daughter can now go to her fathers without you worrying about her the whole time,great!as for your neck pain,i do wish they could find something to help you.i,get a horible pain inmy neck ,which doesnt allow me to be comfortable and get any relief from it.it goes into my shoulder blades but is worse right at the base of my neck and the pain is excrutiating.my dr says its muscle spasm,but im on muscle relaxants so???i can understand your frustration,i do hope when you go back tomorrow ,that theywill have an answer.you take care,remember ,no hoovering!!sending you luv and gentle hugs from across th pond!luv sharon xxxxxxx
