On May 25, 2007, I lost my 80 year old mom to complications resulting from her suicide attempt.
Treatments
- Crying Working / Worked
- Grief Counseling Working / Worked
- The hospice center where Mom was taken has a 13 month over-the-phone bereavement counseling program. I'm touched that they have this service.
- Prayer Working / Worked
- Writing Working / Worked
Close Macular Degeneration
Macular degeneration runs in my family. Though my brother and I don't have it, we monitor ourselves closely. Two of our aunts have it, and our mom had it, as well.
Open Diets & Weight Maintenance
After eliminating most white sugar and white flour from my diet, I've finally returned to my happy and healthy weight.
