hurting today--did too much yesterday.
I have told you many times how much I love you, so I'm not doing that today. Today I'm telling you that I need you. I need you to look out for me yes, but I also need you to think of yourself. While I need to know you're there I need to know that you are looking out for yourself. I need you to tell me you love me, I also very much need you to love yourself. I need you to keep me in your prayers, as I need you to say a prayer for yourself. I need you to know there is no shame in needing. I need you to be kind to yourself. I need you to keep a smile reserved for the funny times and a tissue for the hard times. I need you to take the time to heal when you are injured physically or emotionally I need you to realise how special and amazing my lion hearted nana is, and how little people I truly let into my heart......And I need you to accept all of this and know (I love you) xxxxxx This was sent to me as a hug from my baby girl and is a gentle reminder to me that I need to care for myself first in order to care for anyone else.

Nana... we all know that war is hell. It's hell on earth! We all have to grow from the experience... and hope it doesn't happen again. We have to honor our protectors and have faith that we will succeed. But, like I said... I don't want to see our troops coming back in bodybags! It's too much to endure!
