Dr. R called in response to my loooong email (apologized for length, she writes in 'code' when she answers LMAO) and said my list of physical agonies sounds like predisone withdrawal. She put me back on 10mgs only, but after 2 days its a mild but real relief; less chills, pain, but the slow crunchy movement continues. The Enbrel arrived in an overnight cold pak box. I have to take a month of TB meds before starting enbrel. I dont want to take either of these meds, they sound too lethal long term....

My 2 sons (30 & 22) announced they plan a visit in May and voiced concerns about length of visit (not more than a few days) since I'll be back at work. I dont know if my kids are insensitive or what...because despite 5 trips to ER, major surgery, having severe RA, they dont seem to 'get' I'm a bit limited in getting around. I feel like I'm going to see them (first time since all the above has come to pass) and they're going to be disappointed...I feel useless already since I havent had the money to pay for college for them, so now being physically limited really adds to the package.

 I'm pricing air mattresses because I have no place for them to sleep right now.

 My cat, a 10 month old long hair chocolate brown male is a very adorable and naughty boy. He's been very good for the last couple of months about letting me sleep at night, but last night something got him started very early because he starting collecting his toys around 4am and brought each one onto the bed in preparation for waking me at 5:30am to start playing. He has a peculiar habit of hoarding his bells, rubber balls, scrunchy foil balls into a spot under the bed skirt...and then meowing that he has nothing to play with. He comes on the chair next to me and taps me with his paw when he insists it's time for group fun:-)
