I was diagnosed in 2001 with VL of 500,000 and t-cell 20. The odds where against me as at the time I was in the hospital with PCP and a very serious yeast infection that pervaded my entire being. I was wasting away and had lost 5% of my muscle mass. Today I am at 830/Undetectable
I have RA. Have had pain my whole life from it, but was not diagnosed by a Doctor until 2001.
I have been battling depression my entire life. Have been on meds for it since 2001
I have GAD given to me by my Mother along with her eyes. Some genetic things are not as fun as others. My Dr thinks that my anxiety is more prominent when I become more depressed. I think it is the other way around, either way the med he has me on is working for both.
On Oct 25 my Husband called me from his office speaking gibberish, alarmed I called 911. When they arrived he was ok, a three day hospital stay followed bec of the TIA. 2 hours after being released he was back speaking gibberish again and this time was mini stroke. He has Aphasia and is having to relearn words, reading and writing. This is so very very hard for both of us. He cannot work, and I am quickly falling behind in school.
My husband suffered a minor stroke in Oct 2007 that left him with aphasia. I have been helping him to relearn how to read, write, speak, count... it has been very hard emotionally, and physically draining. I am so tired
