    I am a 54 year old mother of two college age kids. Married for 27 years and diagnosed with epilepsy about 2 years ago. I also have type 1 Diabetes. I have Myoclonic jerks and Tonic Clonic seizures but am under control for the most part now.

    Interests

    I am a former Product Designer and Art Director so art and design is my hobby with Interior Design being my current favorite.

      I was diagnosed two Years ago with Epilepsy. I have Myoclonic Jerks and Tonic Clonic Seizures.

      Treatments

      Keppra Not Working
      experienced terrible side effects of rage and suicidal thoughts
      Klonopin Working / Worked
      Works well on controlling Myoclonic and for getting sleep
      Neurontin Not Working
      Did not work
      Depakote Somewhat Helpful
      worked but hurt my liver
      Zonegran Working / Worked
      working but still adjusting

      Hi- I am a 54 year old mother of 2. I was diagnosed with Diabetes when I was 48. At first they thought I was type 2 and then realized that the pills were not working. We switched to insulin injections and still had problems with control. I have been on an insulin pump for about 5 years.

      Treatments

      NovoLog Working / Worked
      I use an insulin pump with Novalog and have great results.
