About Me
I was born in San Diego, Calif but have lived all over the world. I left the USA at age 8 and did not return until 17, and when I did return, my homeland was the foreign country to me! Had a very difficult time adjusting. I lived in the Phillipines, Japan & Italy. Also spent short periods in many other countries including Alaska ( before it was a state). I have 2 daughters, that I adore, and 3 grandchildren( 2 girls & 1 boy) that are equally adored.
Interests
"I'M SORRY, BUT I AM NO LONGER TAKING FRIEND REQUEST. IN ORDER TO BE THE BEST FRIEND I CAN BE, I HAVE TO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF FRIENDS I HAVE." My main love is of animals(all kinds) I have 3 dogs a cat and half a dozen fish & many wild critters who share my home since I live in the country. They give me great comfort as I become more and more disabled. I love all kinds of music, a good movie, reality shows, and a good book. I also love pictures of Fairies and unicorns and I love Fantasy Art! Since my computer is so old and I can't put "REAL" pics on my page, I try to get them online and download the ones that I think show my interest. For example, the one of the GEISHA is because I lived in Japan. Since I started this I now have a new computer and have added many real pictures to my profile! Hey dale! THanks for the warm wishes, unfortunately it is not that great of a day... MS rearing it's ugly head, coming down with a cold, and pain full force ahead... but just wanted to drop you a quick line, cuz the kids have been sitting here tugging at my shirt tails, so-to-speak. Oh it's only 11:50pm here and I don't usually go to bed much before 12 or 12:30am. Hey don't blame me for you not getting things done, I don't have you chained on the computer........... Oh no problem with Friday my friend. I am never on DS that day LOL. Thing is here there are hospitals run and owned by the govt and then there are the private ones. The private ones do need to make money adn people can get insurance which will pay a good %age of the costs for them. The govt ones are funded from our taxes and you don't have to pay. We have some illegals but not many in the scheme of things and we try to send most of them home, and most often do manage to. I think that the people who are making all the money - the drug companies and the businesses running the hospitals etc - are so powerful in that country that there is no way that you will ever get the system changed. But when I read on here stories about people who can't get any medical attention because they do not have money it makes me so sad. And then friend of mine had 2 nights in hospital cost nearly $13,000. I nearly died. OK she will get money back but will still have to pay around 20%. Here she would have walked out with a bill for some meds she had to get filled. And that would have been it (oh unless she wanted the phone or TV). OK now I better get of my soap box, go feed the dogs and get a coffee. Love and cwchs - Marg

My pain began 15 years ago with a disc in my neck that exploded in instead of out causing severe nerve damage to my neck,shoulders & arms & hands. I have osteoartheritis, degenerative disc,joint & tissue desease, fibromyalgia & chronic shingles.

I was diagnosed with shigles in 1998 but had them for several years before then & did'nt know what they were. After Years of seeing different Dr's & Dematalogist, I was told I was a "textbook" case & all that was left for me was to treat the symtoms as they occured. I had every treatment you can imagine, including injections to each and every shingle (ouch!) biopsy's etc. I have Chronic Shingles. I will actually break out in shingles on top of existing shingles.
