Close Bereavement
Type: Loss of a ParentI just lost my mother to cancer in December of 2006. She was diagnosed with cancer in July and did not last long. We never thought she would pass that soon. We all had hope especially me. She passed from Uterine/Endometrial Cancer. Rest in peace mom. You will never be forgotten.
Treatments
- Crying Somewhat Helpful
- I am not sure if it is helping me. I wish crying would make all the pain go away.
- Psychotherapy Too Soon to Tell
- I started seeing a therapist. So far so good.
- Support Groups Considering
- still waiting to find the right support group.
Close Depression
Since the death of my mother, I am really depressed. I do not know how to move on.
Treatments
- Paxil Working / Worked
- I have been on paxil for years. first for my anxiety and then a little depression. now i increased my dose. i hope it helps
Open Dizziness & Vertigo
back in 94 i woke up around 530am with severe dizziness. i could not even get out of bed. i had to lay on one side and let it pass. it went on for years until i starting taking paxil. my doctors could never figure out how is started and why it happened. but hopefully this site will help me truly understand.
Treatments
- Antivert Not Working
- i took it a long time ago. my doctor then gave me paxil and it helped with my dizziness spells. it also is helping my anxiety and depression.
