Hi, Welcome to DS. I am fairly new at this also, tomorrow I have my second chemo treatment. I am 48 years old and also a mother of two children, ages 18 1/2 and 20. It was very hard for me to get diagnosed because the lump I thought I felt in my neck was not apparent to 4 different doctors. This went on for a year. It took a chiropractor to actually feel that the right side of my neck was enlarged and this is what finally got my doctor to order tests. Believe it or not, my first needle biopsy came back negative. I am a hypochondriac and just pursued this and sought a second opinion until I finally received the diagnosis in May. I am stage 2a, nodular sclerosis, non bulky. I also have tumors in my neck and chest. My blood counts dropped after my first treatment and I'm very anxious today that they may not have gone up enough to receive my treatment tomorrow. My first treatment went well and I can only hope that the rest go as smooth. I would love to talk to you more as we go through this so called "journey." It sounds like we are basically at the same point. Mary Ann
