I have been diagnosed since September 2004. I started out on Avenox and now on Betaseron. I work as a shift manager in a Casino. I am a mother of 2 daughters, a grandmother of 2 girls, and a wife of almost 30 years. I love to knit, crochet, bowl and camping and fishing. I try not to let the Ms get to me or get in the way of anything I might want to do. I always say "It ani't getting me"..

I have filed for SSD. I filed last September and am still going through appeals ... I hear it takes awhile to get approved. Silly though because it is not like MS is going to get "better". Ugh!! I am using Allsup to help. They are very nice and very thorough.

I found out Sept 2004 that i had MS. I went to the dr. after i fell at a show and bumped my head i thought i had an concussion, so after a week i went to the dr, he tried to say i had Balls Paulizy. So the next morning i went to the MRI of the brain. Thats when they found the Ms. Then of ourse the Lumbar Puncture was next. My husband of 29 years only wants to live for the "Day at a Time". So I son't say much to him. I also have 2 daughter, and 2 grand Daughters.
