About Me
I was a hair stylist for 24 yrs. I was diagnosed with fibro. 3 ago. I stopped working 2 yrs ago. I recently won my SSDI case after 3 denials, I should have gotten an attorney 1st thing. trust me on this, get one!!! My Dr. believes I got FMS from Lyme disease I had in 02. I'm divorced after a 20 yr. marriage. I have a 16 yr. old son and 10 yr. old twin girls. I have fantastic parents that help me soo much. My friends are awesome. DS friends included. You guys are the best support out there.
Interests
Spending time with my family. I've always loved gardening, cooking, camping. can't do so much now. I love to watch Nascar, we have quite a group that likes to watch together. Jimmie Johnson #48 is my favorite!!Love the Red Sox and N.E. Patriots too.I have a great love of horses and have ridden my whole life. I started ridding again last yr. Why did I ever stop. All 3 kids are taking riding lessons and are naturals.

Sheesh Donna... you made me tired just READING about all the running around you are doing. Oh well, it is all meaningful necesary running around. Good karma. You too, don't overdo it! Try to pace yourself as much as possible. Make a point of sitting down whenever you see a chair, lol. I am sitting in a chair when I unpack the boxes. Thanks for stopping by. Wishing you luck with your fundraiser.

Treatments
- Acupressure Somewhat Helpful
- only if done very carefully without to much pressure
- Aqua Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- helps some but only temporary
- Cymbalta Somewhat Helpful
- helps with depression, but not with pain
- Heat Working / Worked
- I love heat of any kind
- Lyrica Somewhat Helpful
- My pain dr. put me back on lyrica w/the cymbalta. He wants me up to 300mg a day. I'm on 150mg now. plus 120mg of Cymbalta. I think it's helping some. But hard to say, i had another epideral in my neck and a pain block in my ribs. and the weather is nicer. so we'll see i guess. If I gain weight, it's gone.
- Massage Somewhat Helpful
- Felt ok at the time a little painful, then would hurt for days after I stopped going
- TENS Working / Worked
- I never enjoyed this treatment as it always gave me the creeps
