On Adderall xr full time now, I think I found a liveable level. Working three jobs leaves me little time for antyhing else!
About Me
ADHD/Bipolar (though I argue the bipolar part as do most of my friends) I'm a lot of things; a Witch/Priestess, a Metaphysical Minister, a singer, a poet, a crafter (mostly jewelry now, but I've been known to make everything from leather goods to soaps), a wife, and overall crazy woman :) I have had people say that I am easy to talk to and damned near impossible to get to know LOL
Interests
LIFE in general - the magazine I work for, making jewelry for my own business (lanceandgrail.com) and keeping busy - so busy I've barely been here lately!!

Treatments
- Adderall Working / Worked
- A bit manic at first, but if I cut my dosage a bit (reduce it by took myself from 20 mg twice a day to 10 mg 3 times - early morning midmorning and at lunch) I do well. Update - she had me up to 80 mg (20 4xdaily) and I was still crashing too hard. So now I am on 40 mg (20mg twice a day) of Adderall XR and 40 mg (twice daily) regular. I will keep you posted.
- Psychotherapy Too Soon to Tell
- So far, my therapist is a bit all over the map - but I have a long history to evalutate, so I can't and don't expect her to focus on just one thing at a time yet.
Close Food Allergies
Type of allergy: Other FoodsFound out I was allergic to corn after I had my gallbladder out - Dr said I probably always was, but that the surgery just made it even harder to digest!
Treatments
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Somewhat Helpful
- Avoiding corn is probably one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. Shopping is ALWAYS an adventure!
- Zyrtec Working / Worked
- For the most part if I take this before we go out to eat if there is hidden corn in something it doesn't bother me too badly.
