sorry about the anti tanning responces to your post. from me i love the look of a tan and there was a time i used tanning beds but with my reactions to heat from m.s. i would never do it again. heat can bring on exaserbations which can cause permanent damage so i'm just worried about you! be carefull

Hi I wrote a note to you in discussion. I hope things work out. I am on Avonex which doesn't bother me only because I take enough ibuprofen. I hate to tell you that I was in SC when it took me 2 yrs and a lawyer to get disability. Basicly if you can get a doctor to say clearly that you can not work in the job you have nor in anything similar, or even at a simple job due to fatique and pain; Then you might get disability on the first try. SC is a hard state but they all have basic rules. Good Luck

Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Relapsing-remitting MSBegan feeling unbearable fatigue, ankles hurt, tingling in feet/hands. Dx with MS in 2005
Treatments
- Copaxone Working / Worked
- Working great for me. Not crazy about the stinging and lumps i get. I dont' do well with shots in the arm or leg, not enough fat and shots really hurt. ORiginally started avonex, could not stand the side effects.
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- taking at night, not sure if its working or not yet
- Provigil Working / Worked
- Tried it, didn't help. Am now taking ritalin, it does help keep me awake. Every once in a while it makes me feel jittery. I don't like that too much. I'm so tired of all this medicine!
- Solumedrol Working / Worked
- Have had several times, doesnt seem to do too much for me
