I am back and resting ..........kinda ,the flight was up and back and only had one from Pitt to N.C. that I wasn't particularly fond of. It was a layover and I set on the wing.
The service was nice , the 21 gun salute tore me up and the buglar. There were relatives I never knew. I laid a rose and put a cement placque in front of grave that said my saying "If teardrops could build a stairway etc." We couldn't stay I have to be back at work tommorrow but I was there long enough, now I have to have his other buriel In Jax, FLorida @ the national cemetary so I have to prepare for that , thats where I get the flag , relatives wanted his mom to have the flag here and I said ok , and God works in different but wonderful ways , the flag did not arrive in time so I didn't have that taken from me! I was so worried because that is my little piece of the service and him.
I am so glad I could go I wouldn't have forgiven myself if I didn't!
