not only am I dealing with ALWAYS being affected by the ms (progressive doesn't EVER disappear), I'm alone, and broke...still, I try to keep my sense of humor, and am trying to prevent 'falling thru the cracks', as I've seen in my previous career (I used to be a caseworker in Mental Health and Mental Retardation) Mostly, my biggest adjustment has been realizing that I can no longer be 'on my own', and need help from others - paid help because I have no family close by.
nature, people, sports(watching football on tv), tv comedies, weather, internet.

GIVING UP THAT FREEDOM OF DOING THINGS FOR YOUR SELF IS STILL THE HARDEST THING FOR ME. I JUST HAVE A PROBLEM ASKING FOR HELP. PROBABLY ALWAYS WILL. HOPE EVERYTHING IS GOING ALRIGHT FOR YOU. HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY. BEST WISHES ROBIN

Just wanted to say hey.
dx'd 9/05; primary progressive ms. I am no longer able to work, fatigue is bad.(among other things;; balance, etc. ms sucks. am alone and having financial problems also - my ss disability hasn't gone thru yet....have tried everything; ms society and ms foundation have helped some, but I have no idea how next month's rent (or other bills) are going to get paid. any suggestions appreciated
