      Type: Clinical (Major) Depression

      I'm 54 yrs old and have many illnesses. my depression started 7 yrs ago. I feel like no one understands me.

      Treatments

      Effexor Not Working
      didn't help. made me very irritable
      Elavil Working / Worked
      I gained45 pounds while on this drug. It did help with sleep
      Psychotherapy Working / Worked
      I am seeing a therapist now. She seems to be ok. She sent me to a nurse to discuss what meds might help most.

      I am 54 yrs old and have been obese since I was told I have fibromyalgia. The drugs I used caused me to gain a lot of weight. I have tried every diet out there!! I have had both knees replaced and I have severs arthritis in my spine.
