I have been busy all week as all disability groups and disability workshops and forums are going on lately. I went to a Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Day at our local Parliament and they officially declared Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Day on Monday May 12 and in the Parliament Media Room they recorded a 15 minute film clip with a lawyer and person with FM/ME and a Dr. who treats both Dr. A. Bested spoke about these illnesses,  and the M.P.P.  (Ontario Gov't)  person who helped them arrange  the day and proclaimation in  Parliament.  On Tuesday, I went to a  Education and Dialogue  and to hear a speaker who  has some kind of invisible disability and went from poverty to running a Multi-million dollar business operation, Ian Hill, recognized across North America as a world changer. This was put on by our Disability Social Services and Employment Services and supports, including Toronto Business Development Centre = starting your own business with Gov't support agencies, etc. It was interesting and we got bus tokens and a meal. They have been doing these all over the province of Ontario and will hit every city, gradually. Wednesday night I had my local Fibromyalgia Support Group meeting and filled everyone in on the FM Awareness Day  for those that missed it and told them we can get a free video clip of the the media clip, that by the way Not one T.V. station aired! ******* And one person told us about a FM study for a new machine in North America  to develop a device called CNP (Complex Neural Pulse) that Toronto, (Ontario)- based "Fralex Therapeutics Inc." was formed to further develop, that 2 Docs developed and researched & over the course of 11 clinical trials and more than 300 subjects  have tried. There are some clinical trials still going on and I called to participate in but,  I called today and the person is not in.  But I left a message for her to call me.  This is a long holiday weekend for us the past Queen's birthday, so I will hopefully get a phone call on Tuesday.  *** Thursday I got caught up on errands and  went to a Community supper. Today, Friday, I did some phone calls and E-mails, and went at a slower pace.

Yeah! and why May when her birthday is 23 APril. she is weird tho, she has 2 birthdays. stupid isnt it. I am pleased that you went to parliament and saw that. shame that the media arent interested. It was quiet here too, I sent 2 emails out, one to the fma.uk asking what they are doing for fms aware day, no response andI sent a personal email to a support group asking the same, nobody bothered to reply. SO you are v lucky to have a group yu can actually go to.

You have been a very busy girl. If you don't take care of yourself no one else will. It is great that you are keeping up on all the latest technology and trials. Keep up the good work.

Good, don't you stay so busy? That seminar/day program you went to about CFS/FMS sounds wonderful. Unfortunately, we have very few in this area with one or both of the above mentioned disorders, so we don't have anything around here like that. Closest may be Nashville, and I do well to drive here! Haha. You take care of yourself.

When you said they declared that day FMS/CFS day, was it nationally? Or only for that center?
