Close Cystic Fibrosis

I was quite a small baby who was diagnosed w/ C.F @ 6 months of age after having been hospitalized for Liver problems, pneumonia and a collapsed lung; I spent most of my first year and a half of life in the hospital (wasnt fun); But I overcame huge obstacles to get where I am now!! So here I am!

Chest Percussion Somewhat Helpful

Took too long; hurt really awful; didnt always seem to get the right areas

Cipro Somewhat Helpful

I really cant remember

Pari PEP Working / Worked

I still use this but it seems to work just like a regular nebulizer.

Pulmozyme Working / Worked

I use this still- once daily but I guess the benefits are working for me

ThAIRapy Vest Working / Worked

Quicker; easier; self reliant percussion method altho machines are bulky for traveling.

Pancrelipase Working / Worked

This has worked quite well with my digestion and you dont end up taking many of these pills at meals; They're capsules so they go down well

Albuterol Working / Worked

For a morning treatment this is more convenient than doing a neb treatment

TOBI Working / Worked

A little hard to remember my 28 days on/ 28 days off (when you have a typical teen age life these days) but the benefits work well

Pulmozyme Working / Worked

Works great and seem to open me up.

Zithromax Working / Worked

Its 1 tablet Mondays, Weds & Fridays; has been helping to keep infections away for the most part.
