    About Me

Fibromyalgia, psoriatic arthritis, iron deficient anemia: diagnosed with FM (Feb. 2007), iron deficient anemia and psoriatic arthritis (August 2007). Suspected FM trigger was Dec. 2005 auto accident - was ejected out of vehicle headfirst onto the highway - broke my C3 and banged up the rest of my body pretty well. Started having FM symptoms a year later in upper arms, feet, ankles and hands and extreme fatigue. Thought the pain was just accident related and the fatigue was weight related, but it has turned out to be FM and psoriatic arthritis. I'm mostly functional and am able to work full-time but I don't have the strength or energy for much more than that. I generally recoup on the weekends, just to start over Monday morning, praying to make it a full week without having to call in sick. Well, that's my story....and I'm sticking to it. Looking forward to sharing and learning as much as possible about this FM mess.

    Interests

Getting enough sleep and conserving energy for later use...lol. Family, friends, shopping, pogo.com, my buddies here at dailystrength.org, searching for the right combination to manage my pain and fatigue so I can live a normal/semi-normal life again.

Right now, I dont have the last two, and my meds are managing the pain, so it isnt too bad. I cant imagine 2 weeks of no electric... UGH! LOL... Keep in touch from time to time.
