I am just entering this world and am confused. My Husband thinks he may be bi. He is my best friend and we both want to stay married to each other. Is it possible? He says he could never bring himself to act on it. Still, it's just hanging out there, like a 1,000 pound gorilla in the room. I hug you and will take all the hugs and support I can get.

Open Depression
Depression runs in my family and in my history, and felt quite acute to me after the loss of a friendship that was important to me. It seems a lot less now that I've started an anti-depressant.
Treatments
- EMDR Not Working
- Psychotherapy Not Working
- I don't actually think all the psychotherapy I've been in throughout my life was worthless...but I wish it would have worked a lot better.
- Wellbutrin Working / Worked
- The only anti-depressant in my life that seems to have had a positive effect. The other ones I either didn't notice any effects, or they actually depressed me more.
Open Food Addiction
I was hospitalized 2x at age 17-18 due to my eating and associated depression. The 2nd time, spent 1 mo in the hospital and about 4 mo in a halfway house. Involved in Overeaters Anonymous for about 8 years after that...
Treatments
- Overeaters Anonymous (OA) Working / Worked
- Attended for 8 yrs...used AA meetings when OA ones were not available. Had a lot of support.
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- Eating sugar always made me obsess over it. After about 15 years of not eating it, it *finally* stopped having that effect. But I still only eat very small doses.
Open Career Changes
Feeling stuck in my job, and there is an opening elsewhere that I'm thinking of applying for.
Open Bisexuality
I'm a happily-married lesbian-virgin Christian bisexual. Didnt figure out the bi part until age 35 though...
