Well just to update everyone, I went to see the General Medicine doc yesterday. No new news, he did however have a few things confused by thinking that my symptoms come and go like with months where I have no symptoms. I had to set him straight on that. I also took him my "pain diary" from April thru Aug for him to read up on and hopefully it will make him think of something that he can research and come to a final conclusion before my next appt set for Dec. 11. This is the doctor who was looking after me while I was in the hosp. So far with this I have been to Neurosurgery, Neurology and now General Medicine. I am beginning to think that whatever is wrong with me is just in my head and I am making myself sick. This morning I had to go back to the lab to give more blood and urine. They are checking my phosphate levels, red/white blood cells and liver and kidneys. Same thing they checked while I was in the hosp. 4 weeks ago.
Don't make the mistake of thinking it is in your head. I started thinking this too, but eventually, got diagnosed with CFS. It was a neurologist who diagnosed me, but only after my dr. ran massive tests and had eliminated everything else.
Keep trying to get a diagnoses and quit thinking it's in your head. We all think that at first. I even asked a couple of shrinks if it could be in my head and they said no.
Good luck to you!

I tried for years to cure myself with positive thinking, ignoring my symptoms, etc. It did not work, it was not in my head. Then, finally, I got diagnosed.
I do think my sinus trouble is all in my head. (That's a joke.)
