I didnt know that decongestants cause draining and anthihistimine can cause the eustacian tubes in our ears to clog because its a drying agent that acts like glue so it is no help with head congestion kinda like using a suppresant will cause a cough to stay in our chest and turn a cough into bronchitis or pneaumonia, how are we supposed to know this. I spoke to a guy whose dad was a pharmacist back when there was alcohol in cough syrup and it WORKED better. In fact its the old folks that take just one little shot that live to be the oldest.
So, Im feeling like Im in a plane....or a tunnel. The d....octor complimented me on my positive attitude which was nice, I farted a little "honk" fart just as he walked in I could have died, of course, I said "ashley!" and blamed it on my daughter, she didnt catch that she took the rap for my ripping it...not sure if the doctor fell for it since I lifted my right leg in a can-can move as it cut it! I could have died!! Public methane too....so anyhow, I almost got the giggles but I was so embarrased I tried to change the subject insteads of saying AHHHHHHH Im so embarassed.
I just am determined to get better and don't want a sickness to ruin my moods everyday so I just dont let it.
I got a little upset when my tenant fussed about me bringing an appraiser to HIS house....I feel so bad about causing his family to relocate but its life...so I tried to NOT let him rob my joy...Ive spent all week dealing with lenders and agents trying to determine solutions to our double house payment issue.
Ok, so getting the house picked up for agents to review the house and see what kind of price it will sell for FAST...I wont know what to do when our expenses are cut to a third of what they are now....Wont that be nice!? Saving money?
I may be very busy this week getting my house ready for show, its an organized dirt clod. Bens first game got cancelled because of the rain today.
Yesterday some kid showed my son POT and said, if you tell I will kill you. I wanted to know his name, he said he didnt know....8th grade! I cant wait to get my family back to the better school district, he absolutely hates it here. Yesterday kids were calling him a loser and he felt so crappy. Ive got him in counseling and on prozac, he is counting the days 46 school days until school is out. I sooo want to take him out NOW...but he needs to finish, I just feel so bad, he has only a few friends, and the one he adored now had to move over Easter. I wouldnt go back to being 13 for anything. He is short and kids are just mean.

kids are mean in the schools, its always been that way but now its progressed to violence in the schools and its dangerous to even send your kids.when my kids were in school they knew better than to ever be mean or harrass another child, we would have never allowed that , they would have had their butts warmed . thank goodness my kids are all soft hearted so we didn't have any problems with them.
i took something to dry me up and my head is so stopped up now and my ears are ringing so bad , i can't hardly eat without choking from the stopped up nose . i hope this goes away, i am so sick of it .
when we sold our house in okla . i had to keep it spotless because people were always comming in to look. they even looked in the closets and in the kitchen drawers .lol oxoxoxoxooo

Some of my meds say right in the side effects that they may cause gas!! I wish I could just bring that side effects thingy with me and another sign pinned to me saying "avoid gaseous area. Enter at your own risk!!!LOL

Around here all the really old farts drink blackberry brandy when their sick. Wish I could remember now what it was I heard was so great for coughs, maybe a drink as it relaxes the muslces that cause the coughing.
My great-grandmothers receipe for coughs/colds was to finely dice an onion and saute it in a tiny bit of butter until clear then add a couple tablespoons of honey and then some Irish wiskey. The alcohol relaxes the muscles but so does the onion, it is a very mild member of the opiate family and honey is supposed to be a natural anti-biotic as it's the only food we know of that won't grow a mold culture.
Grandma would give us a shot of that, cover our chest with vicks and then add a layer of hot wet wool and stick us by the woodstove.
Years later I found out the old Catholic hospitals used hot wet wool compresses on the chests of people with pnumonia (pre pennicillin days) and the vodka in hot water to inhale to break up all the gunk in the chest.
