Heavy Chest pain-trouble breathing ...warning it may be viral and not a heart attack....

I was at the emergency room Sunday night and back to the doctors twice today for myself then my daughter to discover we have some funky upper respiratory virus. I can see it now, people flooding the emergency rooms because of the breathing and chest pain issues only to discover its a virus, the ER doctor seemed almost annothatyed. I guess I had built up lots of mucus because after a good cry I actually felt a little better. I was so miserable today I started to write my will, I think all the ER's will be filled with people panicing over this...and I hope it stays contained but likely we caught it at Kings Dominion.....
This was accompanied by sore throat at first, neck pain, shoulder pain, back pain, and jaw pain, and a big old ugly headache...now some nausea and a little dizziness....alll classic signs of female heart attack symptoms...weird....I feel bad for my daughter but some sence of relief that I knew it wasn't our hearts bc she is 11!
So please if you are having some chest pains, take them seriously but look at all your symptoms too, I had develepoed some laryngitis and my daughters' throat was sore too...
I cant believe it sick already and not even September! I slept so late today Im up now....
Time in bed designing my kitchen renovation, my plan is to remodel and make it look fantastic for around $1500>>>>so cheap....here are my plans, I bought some beautiful melanine and white cabinets with laminate shelves and clear glass shelves, 12 cabinets in all for only $600 from the habitat for humanity, what a cool store....I will be checking back there too...
So, I will do a cream paint, and follow with a dark brown glaze to make them look real Tuscan style, I chose a venetian pain treatment I want to do, and will look on Ebay for the perfect and cheap hardware to paint. My appliances are nice I will just need to figure out a way to get doors made to cover the dishwasher and fridge using my husband's skills. I will do simple open shelving in the pantry closet and paint it, and we found these great drawer pull outs from Lowes and I will repurpose some drawers from a dresser from a yard sale with good tracts. With a simple little rope molding, prime paint, and glase just on the detail work it will look hot. I can see it now. I may end up having to replace my kitchen floor later, but Im excited about using granite tile, and designing a custom tile backsplash and using venetian plaster to really make the kitchen a real masterpiece on a dime. I will plan it in phases as to not interrupt the flow of the house but if my budget goes well, this will be a killer makeover.
I have big plans for my master bathroom too and I cant wait to start painting. Ben will be my paint buddy while the kids are in school. Now that H my heart is ok, I guess I can start riding bikes when Im healthy, but must still rest so it doesnt turn into bhronchitis, or pneumonia or my two with asthma pulmonary issues dont catch it.
PS Kevin is doing great but a sneaky little thief .....I have to give him greater consequences....any advice here???

He lost those items permanently, but he has so many disorders, he just does things on impulse. He doesnt STEAL money, but he takes candy, food, and sneaks it and also sneaks his brothers nintendo. I am ready to just get rid of all the video games but I keep them because they are good currency. My chest finally stopped hurting, but now Im nauseous with a cold but feel my energy risingt.

First of all, I'm so glad that you're okay. Secondly... sounds like you have a real flare for "design on a dime". You've got some great plans for your kitchen.

I'm glad you got things checked out, your right that the symptoms were for female heart attacks and doctors do over look us so often so better safe then sorry. As you found though all the symptoms need looking at and some people just do things differently. I'm sure I told you about my boys who always got strep each year and never had sore throats, they had stomach pain and when left untreated long enough breathing problems but never the sore throat.
Wow, sounds like your going to be real busy with the house, hope you plan on uploading some pix when you get done.

I have a daughter who always tests negative for strep but after a third week of swollen glands and a sore throat she breaks out in a rash, commonly referred to as a strep rash. And my son never complained of a sore throat, or had any symptoms at all when my daughter did and yet he almost always tested positive for strep. This went on for years, until the doctor told me if she had one more of these episodes they were going to take her adnoids and tonsils out, and then they went away. She only had one incident after that and there were many years in between. Same for my son.
