Just wanted to stop in and brag about Abram a little bit. He turned 7 months on the 8th and started crawling on the 12th. I'm so proud of him! He can also be on his belly and push himself up into a sitting position. It's too cool. He can pull himself up on a lot of things too. He is all over the place now!! Still no teeth though =(
Not much else to write about. Oh I got a kitten! She's mostly gray but looks like she may have some calico in her. We named her Molly =) She's super cute but is really crazy. Having her & Abram making a ruckus at the same time can get a little bit overwhelming.
I hope everything is good with all of you ladies!

I can't believe how long it's been since I've last written a journal. Well Abram is doing absolutely great. It amazes me how many things he can do now. He sits up unassisted, can play with all of his toys, smiles, yells, babbles, rolls over from back to tummy & from tummy to back, looks for Richard when I say "where's daddy?", recognizes his name, smiles constantly, & so much more. He is just the greatest thing ever.
A couple weeks ago we had to go to the doctor because he had this horrible rash all over his body. They never could figure out what it was but it's gone now so that is good. It was very stressful though. It was the first time he wasn't completely well and it scared me. So when we were taking him to the doctor he weighed 17 lbs 12 oz and was 28 in. I believe. I could be a little off though. His next appointment is Oct 16.
My life honestly couldn't be any better right now. This is the first time since I was 9 years old that I haven't been depressed. Abram is the light of my life and I am so glad that the Lord decided to bless me with such a perfect little person. I am amazed by him daily. I just can't even put into words the way he makes me feel. Richard and I are getting along great. We started dating 6 years ago on October 30th and we will be celebrating our 1st anniversary on Nov. 19th. I am just so in love with life right now!!
There are some stray kittens that live in the bushes outside my apartment and I've been thinking about catching one. I'm just not too sure because a lot of places around here don't accept pets and we don't plan on living where we do for too long. I wouldn't have to get rid of the kitty after getting attached. I am a firm believer that you have a pet for life not only when it is convenient. So I don't know. They are so darn cute though!!
I'm starting to think about when we will be having our second child. I want my children to be pretty close together in age. I'm thinking when Abram is 15 months old it would be nice to get pregnant again that way when the second child is born Abram will be 2 years old. I know that we might not get pregnant immediately but the second child being born anytime during Abram's second year would be fine. I would love to have another child now but I just don't know if I could handle it. It's hard enough now trying to keep the house clean, taking care of Abram, & everything else that goes along with being a stay at home mom. Not only that Richard is a little stressed about money when it comes to a second child. He makes great money but he just worries. I would also like to lose a lot of weight before I get pregnant again so baby & I have the best start possible. I would like to lose about 100 pounds!!!! So we will see how everything goes.
I hope that you are all doing great and I would love to hear from you all. I know how hard it is to journal with little ones though!

If you are using a bassinet for your child look at this article!! A bunch of bassinets are being pulled of the shelves because of infant deaths. The manufacturer refuses to recall these bassinets so you won't be notified if one of these is one you may have bought. I actually used one of them for Abram for the first 3 month of his life and I am so thankful that nothing happened to him. You can go back to the place you bought it and get a full refund of store credit.

Wow~Abram is sure growing quick! Enjoy!! :)
