Living life to the fullest.
I am a 41 year old wife, mother of 3, two daughters 17, 19(one Bipolar), one son 6. I work in the Toxicology department of a medical lab where reality of drugs & death is in front of me everyday. I love me family deeply, also love to death our two dogs Niko & Keisha. Niko is Mr personality and likes to sing when you play music. Keisha is probably 90 but as strong and healthy as a puppy. My son is the light of my life if I didn't have him I probably would not get up in the morning. I have been treated for depression since my early 20's never feeling better always got manic from antidepressants then dr's would treat me for anxiety. I felt like a ping pong ball and didn't really know what BP was until my daughter was diagnose first. Then I seen the light. ** Update: Keisha passed away in November after 12 long doggy years. We now have a new addition to the family and her name is Angie. Photos to follow.
Like to go on long walks with my daughter. I love to read and devour everything on BP or anything else that interest's me. Love to decorate my house. Spending time with my family especially my husband. I like to garden, sew, relax, play with my son..etc

I was diagnosed Bipolar a few months ago. I have been depressed since my early teens. My 19 year old daughter was also diagnosed recently with Bipolar, she has also had it since her early teens. Trying to find myself again and learn to enjoy the things I used to like to do.
Had my gallbladder removed after gallstone attacks due to stone stuck in bile duct. Doc told me after surgery that gallbladder was not working anyway.I had symptoms for years of feeling ill, loose stools. It got so bad I lost up to 30lbs. It didn't matter what I ate I could not keep it in. Doctor's never new what was wrong with me and kept telling me it was IBS. I know better.
For years I suffered with stomach issues and bathroom frequency finally it got so bad I lost about 40lbs and a couple of months due to not being able to eat without running to the bathroom constantly. I went to see a gastro doctor, had a colonoscopy done, was check for lactose intolerance, wheat intolerance. Doctor told me I had IBS and sent me home I was so angry because I knew I did not have IBS and something was seriously not right with me.
