Seems like a long time since chatting to all of you ~ hope you are doing well. I am once agian attempting to get off the Lyrica ~ my face is twitiching and crawling but the pain is minimal so I think it's worth a try. Been so dizzy I need to try something. Getting over the flu so I haven't been able to keep any doctor or dentist appointments.
Our lives were turned upside down last week by just a little telephone call. Our son, Bryan, fell out of his deer stand (it's bow-hunting season here in Wisconsin). He fell 22 feet! You can imagine our anxiety and the prayers sent heaven ward as we dashed for our wooded acreage adjacent to our home where he was injured. Thank God his injury is the type that will heal with little more than a back brace and lots of pain meds. (which we all understand) He has one compression fracture and one fractured vertebrae. For the second time in his life God has protected him from what could have been a totally life changing injury. This will probably change his life, yes, but not bebilitatingly so. It has been a long week for us with worry and hospital runs but as usual life settle into its normal patterns again.
God bless ~ Dian
