Spent most of Thursday going between the oral surgeon and an endodontist. The OS tried to get fluid out of the lump in my mouth ~ can you say painful?!?!? He numbed it more and finally was able to examine and push and prod to his delight. He then sent me to an endodontist to have the tooth below the lump checked out. He decided I needed to be on antibiotics for at least a week, gave me a couple scripts for pain meds and set up an appointment for a root canal. I pray this is what is needed. the OS said if not he would need to biopsy. Both are in agreement this is a separate issue from the TN. I wasn't happy to hear that .... always looking for a quick fix for that facial pain! I'm a regualar every 6 months dental client, so this root canal comes as a big surprise. I guess that can happen.

Other than that life has been a dizzhy experience. My neuro suggested cuting back on some of my meds and the dizzy problem would go away. It hasn't and the pain (probably set off from the dental appointments) is worse. Is this a problem with Neurotin also?

Even so, I feel better today than I have in weeks. I'm sure you all have been there waiting for test results ~ stressful!

Off a week to greet my new grandchild into the world, if he or she is not born this weekend, my daughter-in-law is being induced on Monday. I will get to have my 2 yr. old grandaughter all to myself Monday until her brother gets home from school. Hopefully by then grandchild #3 shall be born. Please keep my dear ones in your prayers ... may the Lord be with them during this blessed event! Dian
