Tom, sorry to hear of your troubles. Hope life gets better. I am in the same boat. My husband had 2 affairs in the last 5 years. It's been a downhill slide ever since. I just can't see to get over it. Best of luck to you. Wendy

Take one day at a time. It's almost immpossable to get over. It's going to take a lot of time for those wounds to start healing.

I have been depressed for about 4 weeks now due to the fact that I felt something was wrong with my wife. I had the feeling that she was fooling around but in reality I really didn't believe it. My wife is the world to me and I have always put her on a pedastool because she is such a beautiful person inside and out. I close this now since I only have 500 charachters. On DEC 16, 2006, I found a secret email address she had by accident. I accessed it and found in detail about the affair.
Treatments
- Couples Counseling Not Working
- The first one that my wife and I went to was good up until I realized my wife lied to both the counselor and myself.
- Couples Counseling Too Soon to Tell
- Agreed to go to another marriage counselor with my wife. My only stipulations were that the person had to be a female. First session was ok. The counselor said I need healing, so I will go alone starting next Saturday.
