Close Back Pain
I'll make it short & and sweet I have had 6 back surgries 1st was 4/11/02 last 1-11-07 will be having my 7th in a few weeks I am fused from shoulder blades to tailbone. On my last sugery they were going take out all the hardware I had 2 titanium rods & approx 60 screws removed however when the got in found I still hade week spots around t12 so they put in 2 new titanium bars 2 weeks after surgery I got up off the couch felt me a very sharp pain & found out I broke my back just under the new rods
Treatments
- Hypnotherapy Working / Worked
- I don't remember what it is like not to have pain. I look forward to the day when my pain level is around a 4 or 5
Close Chronic Pain
In a nut shell I have had 6 back surgeries & will be facing a 7th in the next couple of weeks.I undergone a discogram, ct cans 15 sympathetic nerve block injections, traction, you name it I've probably had it but i'm one of the luck ones as I am still walking.
Treatments
- Chiropractic Adjustment Somewhat Helpful
- My chriro use's and activactor less stress on the body, and acupuncture which I love. overall mjy experience was really good.
- Hydrocodone Working / Worked
- makes me wide awake for a goof hour or so thrn back to normsl.
- Lyrica Not Working
- the only thing this drug did is screw up my short term memory hate it would not recommend it but thats only my opinion I many have taked it & loved it
- Methadone Somewhat Helpful
- This game me a tiny bit of relief from pain however doctor did not wean me off & the withdrawls were horrible.
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- This is one of the many I am on now helps quite a bit with the pain no real side effects.
