Still smoke free. It will be 5 months this Thursday Nov 20.
Lost my wonderful husband 1 year ago. I still miss him so much. I have one stepson and 2 daughters who are the greatest kids (all grown up now) anyone could ask for. I will be a grandma any day now!!! Can't wait to welcome Jameson Clayton (named after Jim) into this world. He truly is a gift from God.

My beloved husband of 27 years passed away Nov 2, 2007. He beat AML, but died from a rare virus called JC virus.
I was a caregiver to my husband for 6 years. He had AML. He had a stem cell transplant in May 2006. He had chronic GVHD, which left his immune system very compromised. He passed away Nov 2, 2007 due to a rare virus because his immune system was so weakened.
My husband had a BMT 1 1/2 years ago. His tests show 100% donor cells. His brother was a half match, so he had a haplo transplant. As he brother was only a half match, my husband hads alot of Graph vs Host disease problems. His doc kept a close eye on this and treated as necessary. Due to the chronic GVHD, and all the anti suppressnt meds he was on, my husband passed away Nov 2, 2007 of a rare virus called the JC virus. It basically destroys the brains ability to function.
