My mom, Dee asked me to write here in her Journal for her, so that her friends could have an update on her condition...
Moms surgery went well, it took about 5 hours total, including recovery. At least one of her lymph nodes tested positive and we have to wait to see if the others do as well, because they were sent to a lab. Mom will have to undergo Chemotherapy and possibly Radiation as well. The cancer was at Stage 3. She seems to be doing pretty well except for the fact that she has had a fever and hasn't been able to urinate. Last night she had to have a catheter. This morning they said she could go home after she goes to the bathroom. Sorry to make this short, I have a lot to do today. Mom will be able to go into more details when she feels up to writing.
